Hello TWP my old friend

Hey folks! I know it’s been a looooooong time since I’ve posted anything but it’s a new year and I thought it’d be the perfect time to reintroduce myself and renew the old bloggy-blog. So I am here with exciting news on the writing/publishing front.

First of all, the anthology is super close to being finished. We are in the process of getting our cover done and then we just need a couple other things and we will be ready for publication. Woo-hoo! For those of you who don’t know, or may not remember, the anthology will be a bunch of short stories that center around the topic of animal testing. They don’t get too graphic but they will tug at your heart strings. It is a topic that is important to me, and that is why the profits from the anthology sales will go to help the Beagle Freedom Project. This organization is a non-profit that works to help free animals from testing facilities.

If you haven’t already checked out their website, you can click this link: Beagle Freedom Project. It’s a great organization, doing some great work. I hope you’ll consider purchasing the anthology. The collection of stories are top notch (not just because one of them is mine, ha!) and it is for a good cause.

The other piece of good news is I am now about a third of the way through writing the sequel to The Maladroit. I know it’s been a long time coming but I’m hoping to have the rough draft finished by the end of February. If you have any interest in being a beta reader please let me know and I can send you a copy before publication.

Being one of my beta readers has its perks. You’ll get to see the manuscript long before publication AND you’ll get to have input into the published final copy. Some of you were around before I published The Maladroit and you got to see many of your suggestions in the final published version of the book. So exciting right?!

If you haven’t picked up a copy of The Maladroit, you can do so HERE. My dad finally read it, I think he liked it so you probably will too.  🙂

So that’s what I’ve got for you, I hope it was worth the wait. I promise not to make you wait as long until the next post. Thank you for all your support, it means the world to me. I hope you’ll continue to follow me as I follow my dreams of literary greatness!

Until we meet again.
