The March of Progress
Happy March to all you fabulous folks! Thanks for joining me again here on TWP. It’s another fine day here in sunny Arizona! I wish I had more exciting news for you but sometimes, when it comes to writing and publishing there just isn’t that much excitement. It’s usually a lot of waiting and worrying and hoping and worrying and second guessing and oh, did I mention worrying? There’s just so much to get done and figure out that it’s enough to stress out even the most zen of us.
But I’m carrying on and doing the best I can so I’m just hoping for things to work out. I got my revisions back from my editor so it looks like now I just need a book cover. I’ve got a few names to investigate, I’ll keep you posted on my progress with that. The end is in sight, I’m trying to keep my worrying in check. 🙂
There’s some exciting news regarding the latest writing contest. My fabulous editor heard about the incredible organization that the anthology will be supporting and he offered to edit the entries for the final book! Yet another reason for you to get your submissions in so you can be a part of this amazing project! Check out the guidelines here.
I’m also super stoked for the upcoming Tucson Book Festival the following weekend. I’m hoping to be able to attend with some of the other people in my book critique group. It should be interesting to attend such an event with a group of writers. 🙂
Aside from that I don’t have a lot going on writing wise. In news that has to do with my life outside of writing I was recently asked to take over the outreach programs at my church. This is such an great opportunity and I’m so thankful that I was asked. My love for organizing things and helping others, well, this is all right in my wheel house and I’m excited to see where this new path takes me!
Well, that sums up my week, What have you all been up to lately? I always love hearing from you so don’t be shy!
Until we meet again.
Due date for the contest? 🙂
Jess
It’s in Flux right now cause I’m trying to round up some more writers. So just when you get a chance for now. I’ll keep you posted.Â
Ok, thanks!
