What’s New on TWP

Ok folks, we are going to try this again since it is for such a great cause. I’m re-launching our second writing contest, we’re doing an anthology with proceeds going to help the Beagle Freedom Project. You can check out the details HERE. The last one, I got so many great entries, I’d love to see some great ones for this contest too. I’m not sure how many stories I’ll include but I’m hoping for at least 8-10 so please invite your writer friends to participate! I’m still waiting for more responses for book reviews and blog tour stops for The Maladroit. If you have a blog or do book reviews and would like to get a free e-copy of my book to review please let me know, I would love to send you a copy for your honest review. I am also available for tour stops or interviews so just let me know!

I’m also looking for published authors to interview for The Writing Piazza blog as well so if you know anyone who would be interested in joining me for an interview just let me know! I’ve also had some new reviews posted for the books that authors have sent TWP in exchange for honest reviews. You can see those here under Book Reviews.

I’m going to bite the bullet and send my manuscript for The Maladroit off to have it formatted so I can get a cover made. Once I have those two things done, I will announce the official book launch date! It’s exciting and scary all at the same time! I’ll keep you all posted as that progresses.

I’m also going to go over my query letter tonight at my critique group. I’ve rewritten it to try something new for my next batch of query letters. I’m still trying to get my baby Seeker Initiative out there into the traditional publishing world. If my critique group likes my pitch, maybe I’ll put it up here on TWP for you all to read and give me your thoughts as well.
